taco night at my place this past weekend

we left the city to middle of nowhere america

because every now and then

it's necessary to pause from the noise in our daily lives

grand central -to- middle of nowhere america -to- grand central

it was so quiet and peaceful

that returning to the rush of the city

was a shock

we listened to some jazz, some emily king, some john mayer

cooked

sat out by the lake

took a walk

laughed way too much

and really

it was perfect
