summer party

we wrapped up at the office and headed over to the west side
our company's annual summer party was on a boat

the whole fashion crew set to sail down the hudson

this year's theme was mardi gras 

so there were masks, beads
and as always
lots of drinks, food and activities

on a daily basis I am, in some form, interacting with hundreds of people

so much of my time is spent in the subway

rush hour mornings

relaxed mid-days

energy filled nights

and everything in between

so many humans with their own unique stories and individual destinations

so packed my bags and prepped for a mini getaway

an escape from the city

a relaxing time spent with a cool group of people

i ate a lot

spent good time outdoors

got all the sleep i needed

and really just enjoyed every bit of it
