and have been inspired to capture florals in my own way

five years ago i made the move to new york

never imagined i could live in the big city

a concrete jungle 

i was terrified

in five years i've grown so much

been filled with inspiration

met amazing people

and had incredible experiences

yes, there's been ups and downs

but my move to new york

has made me realize

the importance of living fearlessly

after months of planning, designing, ups and downs, I am beyond excited to finally launch my site and start blogging again!

welcome to THE DIARY! thanks for stopping by. this blog is a glimpse into my life, thoughts, inspiration and work process. while the website serves as my portfolio 

so. . . to get started, a list of Two+Twenty fun facts about me 

1. I'm a hopeless romantic

2. I'm very much so a Pisces

1. I'm a loyal nikon user. my first camera was a nikon point and shoot which i begged my dad for. years later, I upgraded to my first dslr which I got as a gift. I secretly wished to switch to canon till I attended the Lucie awards for photography three years ago. achievement in photojournalism honoree, Bill Eppridge, graced the stage and thanked his Nikon first and foremost. since then, i vowed to stay loyal to the brand.

2. I moved to nyc five years ago to pursue fashion and studied at Parsons,The New School for Design.

3. before Parsons, i graduated from the University of Virginia, where i was a pre-med student . . . big change

4. I absolutely love design and have worked at Ralph Lauren, Gap Inc, Victoria Secret Pink, and currently designing for the Carmen Marc Valvo brand as well as several private labels.

5. I have been keeping a journal/diary since I was 9. . . best thing I've ever done and i strive to continue.

6. I secretly wish to be a dancer in my next life

7. I've got three awesome sisters who also happen to be my best friends

8. I'm hopelessly obsessed with pizza

9. I'm a sucker for love songs, love poems, romantic stories. . . anything that has to do with love

10. I'm somewhat of a tree hugger. I love and appreciate nature

11. favorite colors: earth tones - olive green, brown, mustard

15. I don't play any sports but love working out
